The treasures that are hidden among the building of the city are really many and all of infinite beauty and inestimable value. Lower Bergamo is represented by glimpses of ancient villages, one more beautiful than the other, all with different characteristics, but which blend into a single harmonious urban complex. The Upper Bergamo dates back to the Middle Ages and is still enclosed in the Venetian walls, result of the long domination of Venice.
